THIS IS A STUNNING GENTS VINTAGE 1962 ROLEX OYSTER ROYAL PRECISION MODEL REF. 6426 IN STAINLESS STEEL.

DESCRIPTION.

This is a beautiful example of the classic Rolex Oyster Royal Precision wristwatch made in 1962. The stunning stainless steel case is in very good condition with light age related wear. The stunning original dial has been restored to the highest possible standard and simply looks gorgeous. This watch oozes elegance and has a classic look. The high grade 17 jewels manual wind movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.

To complete this fantastic piece, it come on a new Hirsch leather strap and steel buckle.

CASE.

The stainless steel case is in very good condition with very light age related wear. The case measures 34mm across without the steel Rolex oyster screw-down crown and 42mm long including the lugs. 

Inside the case back all the markings are correct as expected: Montres Rolex S.A Geneva Switzerland, Patented,Stainless Steel and the Rolex model reference number 6426, IV.62 for the production date (4th quarter of 1962).

DIAL. 

The stunning original dial has been restored to the highest possible standard and simply looks gorgeous. The watch oozes elegance and has a classic look.

The dial reads: Rolex Oyster Royal Precision, T Swiss Made T.

The high grade manual wind 17 jewels movement is in very good condition and has been fully serviced. This Rolex movement is considered accurate, reliable and strong. The movement is signed Rolex Geneva Swiss, 17 jewels.

The movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.

BRACELET.

To complete this fantastic piece, it come on a new Hirsch leather strap and steel buckle.

BOX & PAPERS.

Like most vintage wristwatches what are over 60 years old, the original certificate and box has been lost or discarded over the years. But even though this watch does not have its original box or certificate, this watch, the reference numbers, markings, signatures and hallmarks are all correct, dating the watch to circa 1962.
