THIS IS A STUNNING VINTAGE CIRCA 1960S LADIES ROLEX PRECISION "CHAMELEON" WRISTWATCH IN 18K SOLID GOLD.

 

 

 

 

 

DESCRIPTION.

 

This is stunning example of a ladies Rolex Precision Chameleon wristwatch in 18k gold. To be over 60 years old this Rolex is in wonderful condition and oozes that 1960s charm and elegance. This watch was named the model "Chameleon" by Rolex as originally Rolex sold the watch with 4 or 5 different colour straps. The straps can be interchangeable and changed easily.

The 18k solid gold 16mm faceted case is in very good condition with light age related wear. The stunning original dial simply looks gorgeous. 

This is a wonderful example of a 18k gold ladies Rolex.

The 18 jewels movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.

 

To complete this fantastic piece, we've put it on a new quality leather strap.

 

 

 

CASE.

 

The beautiful 18k solid yellow gold faceted case is in very good condition with light age related wear.  The small size ladies size case measures 16mm across without the winding crown.

Inside the case back all the marks are correct as expected: 

Montres Rolex S.A, Geneva Switzerland and fully hallmarked 18k solid gold.

 

 

 

 

 

DIAL.

 

The stunning original sunburst silver dial looks simply gorgeous. It has gold batons with gold dauphine hands and with the unusual faceted edged glass this watch oozes charm and elegance. 

The dial is signed: Rolex, Precision, Swiss.

 

 

MOVEMENT.

 

The high grade 18 jewels movement is in very good condition and has been fully serviced. The movement is signed:

 Rolex,  Swiss Made, 18 Jewels.

Like most vintage wristwatches what are over 70 years old the original certificate has been lost or discarded over the years. But even though this watch does not have its original certificate and box. This watch, the reference numbers, markings, signatures and hallmarks are all correct, dating the watch to circa 1960s.
