THIS IS A STUNNING VINTAGE 1968 GENTS ROLEX PRECISION WRISTWATCH IN 9K SOLID YELLOW GOLD.
DESCRIPTION.
This is a beautiful example of a gents Rolex Precision made in 1968.
The 9k solid yellow gold 33.5mm case is in good condition with light age related wear with some small marks to the case back. The original dial has been restored to the highest possible standard and looks gorgeous. The dial has raised gold Arabic numerals & batons with gold dauphine hands. This is a wonderful example of a 9k gold Rolex Precision.
The super high grade Rolex Precision, 17 Jewels movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
To complete this fantastic piece, we've put it on a new high quality Hirsch leather strap and gold plated buckle.
CASE.
The 9k solid yellow gold case is in good condition with a small mark to the back of case. The case measures 33.5mm across without the winding crown and 42mm long including the lugs.
Inside the case back all the marks are correct as expected:
Rolex, R.W.C and fully hallmarked for 9k gold.
DIAL.
The stunning original cream dial simply looks gorgeous. It has raised gold numerals with gold dauphine hands. It oozes that 1960s charm and elegance.
The dial is signed: Rolex, Precision, Swiss Made.
MOVEMENT.
The high grade seventeen Jewels movement is in very good condition and has been fully serviced. The movement is signed: Montres Rolex S.A. 17 seventeen Jewels.
STRAP.
To finish this beautiful watch off, it comes on a new, high quality Hirsch leather strap.
THE BOX & PAPERS.
Like most vintage wristwatches what are over 30 years old the original certificate and box has been lost or discarded over the years. But even though this watch does not have its original box or certificate. This watch, the reference numbers, markings, signatures and hallmarks are all correct, dating the watch to circa 1968.
