KPM Berlin Hand Painted Fuchshofen Scene & Gold Empire Form Cup C. 1820-1830s

Nice empire form porcelain cup with swan handle and saucer. The cup is decorated with a hand painted scene depicting Fuchshofen framed in gold. With gold gilt floral scrollwork to the sides and back of the cup and around the saucer. The cup and saucer have relief molded wide below with gold gilding above and below. The saucer has a gold gilt medallion in the center. Marked on the bottom with the name of the scene and an underglaze blue sceptor mark used by KPM Berlin between 1820 and the 1830s.
Both pieces have some wear to the gilding. The cup is in good condition with no chips or cracks. The saucer has two large chips to the back edge which are partially visible from the front.
The cup measures approximately 4 5/8 inches wide including the handle x 4 3/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 6 1/8 inches wide.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
