Vintage 1944 Omega 2169 “Dirty Dozen” style.

Up for sale is a vintage 1944 Omega 2169 caliber 30T2, serial number 10049248.

This Omega 2169 is incredible; its in amazing condition and an awesome example of mid-20th-century, WWII-era classic Omega. The black dial is in the style of the dirty dozen without the broad arrow pheon marker denoting the mil-spec. This reference was the first dirty dozen style made for civilians.

The case is 35mm without the crown and unpolished; there are no deep scratches. The watch is in excellent condition, especially considering its 1944 origination! The crown and caseback are original and unsigned. The lug width is 18mm.

The movement is a manual winding Omega caliber 30T2, currently keeping time at -11 sec/day. The movement was serviced in January 2021. The crystal is beautifully domed with no blemishes.

The dial and handset are fully authentic, untouched and in original condition, never repainted or restored. The black matte dial has radium filled arabic numerals; the fade on the lume matches the numerals beautifully.
