Omega Watch: Air Ministry 6b/159. Swiss movement serial number 9702314
Serviced and fully functional - tells very good time. Has been unused and in storage since 1970, so in exceptional condition.
Movement built by Omega in 1943: 30T2 SC 16 Jewel. Used by British Navigators and Pilots during WW2 and in Post-war occupation of Germany.
Re-housed in a tougher stainless steel case and lume-painted by British Watchmakers Southerns on behalf of the Air Ministry in 1956. This is the re-issue number 968 of 1956.
Comes with new black and grey Nato strap, presentation box, and documentation relating to Watch Doctors service / over-hall. Please note, the original rubber seal has long since perished, so this watch is not water resistant in any way shape or form... It is a collectors piece to be examined, cherished and admired.
